Volunteer Program

The Atlantic Beach Police Department is looking for outstanding citizens to work as volunteers alongside our dedicated employees. The police department is continuously growing and responding to the needs of our citizens and would greatly benefit from caring citizens who have the desire, time, talents, and knowledge to assist us.

As a volunteer you will be working with officers and staff, helping in areas such as:

  • Data entry
  • Inventory tracking
  • Traffic duties
  • Receptionist duties
  • Animal Control kennel
  • Crossing Guard
  • Assisting with our Citizen Police Academy
  • Parking enforcement
  • and much more…….

The Volunteer Program enhances our ability to provide quality services to our community, as well as provides opportunities to work alongside our wonderful residents. We ask for a minimum of 8 hours of volunteer service per month. If you are interested in becoming an Atlantic Beach Police Department volunteer, please print and complete the Application Packet and turn in to the Atlantic Beach Police Department at 850 Seminole Road.
