Classes & Programs
The City of Atlantic Beach offers a wide variety of recreational and enrichment programs for all ages. From youth sports leagues and theater programs to afterschool care, fitness classes, and special events, our programs are designed to promote wellness, creativity, and community connection. Whether you’re looking to stay active, explore the arts, or find engaging activities for your family, Atlantic Beach has something for everyone.
Afterschool at Gail Baker and Jordan Park Boys & Girls Club
What's provided:
Tutoring & homework help to support academic success
Volunteering opportunities and community service projects
Enrichment programs like basketball, cooking, and more
Our program is designed to help children grow, learn, and thrive in a safe, supportive environment. Last year, 100% of our members advanced to the next grade without summer school—a testament to the hard work of our students and staff.

Unleash your creativity at our free monthly Brush Up Paint Class, where you’ll paint a new themed picture each session — no experience needed!
Classes are sponsored by an Arts, Recreation, and Culture Committee grant, making them free and open to the community.
Sign-ups begin on the 1st of the month prior to each class at www.coab.us/recpermits.
Space is limited! We want everyone to have a chance to join the fun — if you’ve attended before, please consider letting someone new sign up this time so everyone can enjoy this creative experience!
When signing up, please register for everyone attending! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
