Naval Station Mayport is hosting about 250 Peruvian Naval personnel through June 7. They are assigned to the training ship B.A.P. Unión.
Like other similar ships, Unión not only is used for training, it is also a sailing ambassador for its home country. It is among the largest sailing vessels in Latin America.
