The City of Atlantic Beach’s Public Works Department is changing the solid waste collection schedule for residents in the Paradise Preserve neighborhood. Effective the week of Aug. 18, garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection in Paradise Preserve will move to a new day.
To improve service reliability and consistency for the community, all pickups in Paradise Preserve will now take place on Fridays. The first collection on the new schedule will be on Friday, Aug. 22.
Please note that there will be a longer-than-usual interval between the last current collection day, which is Tuesday, Aug. 12, and the first new collection on Friday, Aug. 22.
